I'm an electrical and computer engineer with current skills in data engineering, software development, and software quality assurance working primarily on the Linux/Unix platforms.

 

I typically write backend applications, data load and automation in PERL, Python and Shell and am also experienced in C/C++. Recently, I've performed software data engineering tasks such as data pipelines using Airflow and dbt to populate data in a Snowflake data warehouse. I am also proficient in the microk8s/Kubernetes and Docker areas on personal projects and have an interest in pursuing GCP, AWS and Azure cloud platforms. In the future, I would like to pursue full-stack software development. I currently hold an AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials certification, a certificate in Julia (for Programmers), and a certificate in Multi-Cloud Intensive.

 

I am proficient with git using GitHub and GitLab as well as other source repository tools. I am fluent in Docker, Docker Compose, and Docker repositories. I have a firm understanding of application deployment, test and promotion across multi-environments as well.

 

As a former Toastmaster, I enjoy improving my communication and leadership skills and communicating the message as well as dialogue one-on-one or in group settings. In a volunteer capacity, I utilize my technical skills as the Technology Director of Laguna Niguel Auxiliary Communications Service and volunteer my photography skills with other non-profit organizations in South Orange County.
